Game concept

Tribal Authority

From the game's encyclopedia

Tribal Authority represents the general influence that a Tribal Ruler wields over their Vassals. Compared to Crown Authority, it offers fewer powers and at later levels.

There are four levels of Tribal Authority: Disparate Tribes, Limited, High, and Absolute. Increasing Tribal Authority costs an amount of Prestige depending on the level and the ruler's Learning Skill, but is generally more expensive than increasing crown authority.

Vassals dislike higher levels of Tribal Authority, and lowering it is the primary goal of any Liberty Faction.
