Game concept
Crown Authority
From the game's encyclopedia
Crown Authority represents the general power that a Ruler wields over their Vassals.
There are four levels of Crown Authority; Autonomous Vassals, Limited, High, and Absolute. Increasing Crown Authority costs an amount of Prestige depending on the level and the ruler's Learning Skill.
Vassals dislike higher levels of Crown Authority, and lowering it is the primary goal of Liberty Factions.
