Privacy
Reading the site needs no account and sets no tracking cookies. Visits are counted with Umami, which uses no cookies and stores no personal data.
If you sign in
- Your email address — to send sign-in links. It is never shown on the site.
- The name shown on the DNA you share (you choose it; it starts as "Courtier" and a number).
- Sign-in sessions: when they were made, and the IP address and browser they came from, to keep your account safe.
- The DNA you share — its title, tags, the DNA text and your screenshot — and the DNA you like, save or report.
What is public
Shared DNA is public at once: its title, tags, DNA text, screenshot, your account name, the date and its likes. Who liked, saved or reported a DNA is never shown.
Where it lives
In the site's own database on a server in the United States. Sign-in emails are sent through Resend; the site is served by Vercel. Nothing is sold or shared for advertising.
Cookies
Two, only after you sign in: the session cookie that keeps you signed in, and a small one that lets the header show "My DNA". Both are needed for the account to work.
Deleting everything
My DNA → Account → Delete account removes your account, the DNA you shared, your likes and saved DNA at once. A single DNA can be deleted on its own from the same page. Accounts are for people aged 13 and over.
