A Vassal is a Ruler who has sworn fealty to another ruler — their Liege.

The Vassal provides their liege with Levies and Taxes — their Obligations — in exchange for protection.

If a Vassal's Opinion of their liege is low, they may join Factions, or Scheme to replace their liege with someone else.
