Game concept

Government Authority

From the game's encyclopedia

Government Authority represents the general power that a Ruler wields over their Vassals.

Different Governments have different form of Government Authority. For example, Feudal Realms use Crown Authority, Clans use Tribal Authority, and Administrative use Imperial Bureaucracy. Increasing Government Authority costs an amount of Prestige depending on the level and the ruler's Learning Skill.

Vassals dislike higher levels of Government Authority, and lowering it is the primary goal of Liberty Factions.

Not all Governments have Government Authority.
