Puppet

The game also links it as Puppets, Puppeting, Puppeted.

From the game's encyclopedia

A Puppet is a Character under the control of a Puppeteer, who may take special Puppet actions through them.

Acting through a Puppet opens doors that would otherwise stay closed: a Realm Priest Puppet can petition for Clerical Titles or an Excommunication on your behalf, while a Secular Ruler Puppet can be made to release Tributaries, grant independence, or divorce their Spouse.

The actions available are determined by the Puppet Type.
