Game concept
Herd
From the game's encyclopedia
Herd represents a Nomadic Ruler's people and flock of animals like horses, sheep, and goats.
It can be obtained through holding Counties with high County Fertility, Vassals, or Tributaries. Cultural Traditions, Dynasty Legacies, Legitimacy, and certain Nomadic Capital Yurt Buildings can offer bonuses to Herd gain.
A fraction of the Herd gets converted into Nomadic Horde when a ruler raises their Armies, and they can then be turned into Men-at-Arms at a reduced cost. Once these armies are disbanded, the remaining horde will convert back into herd.
Herd provides a small trickle of Gold, and can also be used as a currency for taking certain Decisions or increasing Migration acceptance.
