Unpurified Battlefields (modifier ID plagued_by_nightmares_modifier) is a named modifier in Crusader Kings III. It gives Holding Taxes -5%. The script puts it on a province. One place in the game's script adds it: Mandala Ritual: Purify Battlefield (event tgp_east_asia_mandala_task_contract_events.3200). Patch 1.20.1.2, from game/common/modifiers/00_event_modifiers.txt.
