Maneuver

The Maneuver phase occurs at the start of a Battle and indicates the time it takes before the Main Phase begins, and Armies engage each other in combat.

Maneuver is an entry of Crusader Kings III's in-game encyclopedia. The game explains it: "The Maneuver phase occurs at the start of a Battle and indicates the time it takes before the Main Phase begins, and Armies engage each other in combat."
