Main Phase

In the Main Phase of a Battle, Soldiers and Knights from the two sides fight each other.

The Main Phase ends when all troops of one side have become Casualties or one side has decided to Retreat.

After the Main Phase the combat enters the Aftermath.

Main Phase is an entry of Crusader Kings III's in-game encyclopedia. The game explains it: "In the Main Phase of a Battle, Soldiers and Knights from the two sides fight each other."
