Locales

You may choose how you explore the Grand Tournament while the Contests are being prepared.
Each Locale offers opportunities to socialize with guests, improve Progress to Victory, or sabotage Contestants.
If a Locale is not selected, you will visit one at random after a short period of time.

Locales is an entry of Crusader Kings III's in-game encyclopedia (Advanced Activities). The game explains it: "You may choose how you explore the Grand Tournament while the Contests are being prepared." It is part of Grand Activity. Patch 1.20.1.2, from game/common/game_concepts/04_ep2_game_concepts.txt and game/localization/english/game_concepts_l_english.yml.
