Game concept

Expected Legitimacy

The game also links it as Legitimacy Expectations.

From the game's encyclopedia

The Legitimacy Level that Vassals expect of their Ruler, based on their historical relationship. Some factors that lower the Expectations are:

• Being the De Jure Liege of the vassal

• Being part of the Close Family of the vassal

• Being the Preferred Heir of the vassal

• Being the same Dynasty that the vassal has served for longer than 50 years

• The vassal not being a Powerful Vassal

If the actual Level is below their Expectations they may become unruly: their Opinion will be lower and they may join Factions against their Liege.

Expectations increase with the level of their Primary Title, as well as with the Era.
