Dynastic Cycle

The game also links it as Dynastic Cycle's.

From the game's encyclopedia

The Dynastic Cycle depicts the socio-political status of the Great Empire of China, which flows through Dynastic Cycle Eras of stability, instability, and chaos.

Key to the Dynastic Cycle is the Mandate of Heaven, a form of Legitimacy held by the Emperor. If it is ever lost, the Great Empire of China will shatter - until it is again united by someone worthy to be the Son of Heaven.
