Game concept

Convert Faith in County

The game also links it as Convert, Converted, Converting.

From the game's encyclopedia

A Councillor Task performed by the Court Chaplain which targets a County of a different Faith — or one of the same Faith but a different Rite — than the Liege.

Progress increases each month, and at 100% the majority of the Target County adopts the Court Chaplain's Faith. The new Rite follows the Liege whenever the resulting Faith matches the Liege's — otherwise it is the Chaplain's own Rite.

Conversion speed is affected by many factors, including the Councillor's Learning Skill and the Fervor of the involved Faiths. A Chaplain whose Rite differs from the Liege's converts more slowly.

On a Rite-only shift, Fervor favours the mainline Rite above 50% and non-mainline (including heretical) Rites below it.
