Squires

The game also links it as Squire.

From the game's encyclopedia

Each Accolade has Squires Aptitude metric, which modifies the Traits and Skills (principally, Prowess Skill, Martial Skill and Hastiluder Trait Experience) of its next Acclaimed Knight.

There are 5 levels of Aptitude for Squires:

• Accomplished

• Capable

• Inexperienced

• Feckless

• Pathetic

Having an Aptitude of Inexperienced or higher will cause the Acclaimed Knight to sporadically influence the Traits and Skills of young, martial-gender Courtiers, giving them priority to assume the Accolade upon Accolade Succession

Squires are principally improved by Glory gain, but also:

• The Acclaimed Knight's Prowess Skill

• The Acclaimed Knight's Martial Skill'

• The Acclaimed Knight gaining Hastiluder Trait Experience

• The Acclaimed Knight gaining Aspiring Blademaster Trait Experience

• The Martial Skill of the Accolade's Liege

• The Prowess Skill of the Accolade's Liege

Each Accolade Succession resets the Accolade's Squires.
