If the main target of the Great Holy War is already held or claimed by a member of the aggressor faith, they will be considered the rightful recipient of the title being fought over, unless the main Contributor decides to give precedence to their Beneficiary.

Favored Candidate is an entry of Crusader Kings III's in-game encyclopedia.
