Game concept

Canonized

The game also links it as Canonization, Sainthood.

From the game's encyclopedia

A Character who has, after death, been declared a saint or another faith's equivalent, such as a Wali or a venerated ancestor, gaining the Venerated Ancestor Trait.

A virtuous life may end in Canonization: it is petitioned through a Decision, may require the blessing of the Head of Faith, and is sealed by consecrating the saint's burial site. Their resting place thereafter draws pious travelers, and their remains may yield Holy Relics.
