Appointment Level

The game also links it as Appointment Levels.

From the game's encyclopedia

An Appointment Level is used by some Appointment Succession Laws as a requirement for Characters to become eligible candidates.

Levels are based on the level of a specific currency and each law can use a different currency as a requirement. A higher tier Title will typically require a higher level.

For example: Celestial Appointment Succession requires Merit - A Duchy requires a Merit Rank of 7th rank or above, while a Kingdom requires 5th rank or above.
