Clerical Appointment is a succession law in Crusader Kings III: A type of Appointment Succession Law used by Ecclesiastical and Theocratic Governments. Under Clerical Appointment, the Title and any associated Holdings will be inherited by the Candidate with the highest Candidate Score. Passing it costs 500 prestige before modifiers. A type of Appointment Succession Law used by Ecclesiastical and Theocratic Governments. Under Clerical Appointment, the Title and any associated Holdings will be inherited by the Candidate with the highest Candidate Score.
Any Adult of the same Faith among the Holder's Close Family, House, Councillors, Court Position holders, Vassals, or Clerical Region Clergy may strive to attain the Title by spending Piety.
