Succession is based on Merit Rank and Candidate Lists

A type of Appointment Succession Law only used by the Grand Marshal, a position reserved for commanders of the highest Merit Ranks. Under Grand Marshal Appointment, the Title will be inherited by the candidate with highest Candidate Score. Score is primarily affected by Martial Skill, gaining Commander Traits, or spending Influence.
