Conditional Join
Conditional Join is a border wars policy in Crusader Kings III: All Title Holders within the Realm can be targeted by Wars declared by other Rulers. Patch 1.20.0.3, from game/common/laws/02_admininistrative_laws.txt.
All Title Holders within the Realm can be targeted by Wars declared by other Rulers
Top Liege will not be involved in those wars on declaration
Top Liege can still join the war as an ally using Protect Vassal Interaction
Top Liege is more likely to join:
Contested titles are kingdom or higher tier
War targets multiple titles
War lasts more than 5 years
If the defender is weaker than the attacker
Top Liege will not join:
During the 1st year of the war
When already at war
When in debt
If the defender is stronger than the attacker
