Joachimism

set_faith joachimite

An apocalyptic mystic faith that reads scripture and history alike as a tripartite revelation — the Age of the Father, the Age of the Son, and an imminent Age of the Holy Spirit in which the institutional Church will give way to a contemplative order of barefoot, propertyless preachers.
