Human sacrifice both voluntary and involuntary bring us closer to the divine. It is customary and virtuous for one to volunteer to sacrifice oneself in ceremony, just as it is virtuous to sacrifice those who have committed unforgivable crimes against the Gods.

  • Executions earn Piety instead of costing Piety
  • Executions never cost Prestige when Sharing Power
  • Adherents can Decide to end their life when old, incapable, or near death; doing so does not incur any of the normal penalties from suicide
  • When an adherent dies by the Consolamentum: Initiate Endura Decision, their heir gains … Piety
  • Allows Sanctifying of daggers and swords
